Multi-Model Chat Explained

Multi-model chat in TeamBench provides access to leading AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google within a unified interface. Instead of switching between ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, you can access all of them from one place, using the same credits and within the same workflow as your content reviews.

The chat feature is accessible from the sidebar. When you start a new conversation, you can select which AI model to use. Each model has different strengths: some excel at creative writing, others at analytical tasks, and others at following detailed instructions. Having access to multiple models lets you choose the best tool for each specific task.

One common workflow is using chat for content creation and then immediately submitting the output for review. Draft a blog post using chat, submit it to your blog reviewer, review the scores, use the feedback to refine your draft in chat, and re-submit. This keeps your entire content workflow within a single platform.

Chat conversations are saved within your organization and accessible to team members. This creates a shared history of content creation discussions, brainstorming sessions, and editorial decisions. Team members can reference past conversations to understand the thinking behind specific content choices.

You can also attach knowledge bases to chat conversations, just as you can with reviewers. This gives the AI access to your brand guidelines, product information, and style documentation during conversations. When you ask the AI to draft content, it can reference your actual brand voice and terminology, producing output that is much closer to your standards from the first draft.

Credit consumption in chat varies by model. More powerful models consume more credits per message. The credit cost is displayed when you select a model, so you can make informed decisions about when to use a premium model versus a standard one. For simple brainstorming, a standard model works well. For nuanced content creation that requires deep understanding, a premium model may be worth the additional credits.

Chat supports streaming responses, so you see the AI's output appear in real time rather than waiting for the entire response to generate. This makes the experience feel more like a natural conversation and lets you interrupt or redirect early if the response is heading in the wrong direction.
