How to Submit Content for Review

Quick Answer

Navigate to the Reviews page, click "New Review," paste your content or upload a document, select a reviewer, and click "Review." You will receive scored feedback within seconds.

Submitting content for review is the core action in TeamBench. Every review produces a scored evaluation against your reviewer's criteria, actionable feedback, and an overall quality score that tells you exactly where your content stands.

To start a review, go to the Reviews page and click "New Review." You will see a text input area where you can paste your content directly. TeamBench supports plain text, and you can also upload documents in common formats such as PDF, DOCX, and TXT. For web content, you can provide a URL and TeamBench will extract the text automatically.

After entering your content, select which reviewer to use. If you have multiple reviewers, choose the one that matches your content type. For example, use your blog post reviewer for blog drafts and your email reviewer for marketing emails. Selecting the wrong reviewer will produce valid but less relevant feedback.

You can also select which AI model to use for this specific review. Each model has different strengths -- some are faster, some produce more nuanced feedback. The default model works well for most content, but you can experiment to find the best fit for your use case.

Once you click "Review," TeamBench sends your content to the selected AI model along with your reviewer's criteria, weights, and any knowledge base context. The model evaluates each criterion independently, assigns a score, and provides specific feedback explaining the score.

The review results page shows your overall weighted score prominently at the top, followed by a breakdown of each criterion. You can see at a glance which areas score well and which need improvement. Each criterion includes the AI's reasoning, so you understand not just the score but why you received it.

If you are not satisfied with a score, you can use the Auto-Improve feature to generate an improved version of your content that addresses the specific feedback. You can then re-review the improved version to verify the score went up.

All reviews are saved automatically and accessible from your Reviews history. This allows you to track quality over time, compare scores across drafts, and demonstrate measurable improvement to stakeholders.

What file formats can I upload for review?

TeamBench supports PDF, DOCX, DOC, and TXT file uploads. The text is extracted automatically and submitted for review. For best results with PDFs, ensure they contain selectable text rather than scanned images.

Is there a content length limit?

Yes, the maximum content length depends on the AI model selected. Most models support up to 100,000 characters per review, which covers the vast majority of marketing content, blog posts, and documentation.

Can I review content from a URL?

Yes. When creating a new review, you can enter a URL and TeamBench will extract the page content automatically. This is useful for reviewing published content or competitor pages.

How long does a review take?

Most reviews complete in 10 to 30 seconds, depending on content length and the selected AI model. Longer content and more detailed criteria may take slightly longer, but results are typically available in under a minute.
