How Auto-Improve Works

Auto-Improve is a feature that closes the loop between review feedback and content improvement. Instead of manually interpreting scores and rewriting content yourself, Auto-Improve generates an improved version that directly addresses the issues identified during review.

When you receive review results, you will see an "Auto-Improve" button. Clicking it tells the AI to take your original content, analyze the review feedback for each criterion, and produce a revised version that specifically targets the areas where your content scored lowest. If readability scored 5 out of 10, the improved version will restructure sentences, simplify vocabulary, and improve flow. If brand voice scored low, it will adjust tone and word choice to better match your guidelines.

The key principle behind Auto-Improve is targeted improvement. The AI does not randomly rewrite your content. It reads the specific feedback from each criterion -- the score, the reasoning, and the suggestions -- and applies changes that directly address those issues. Areas where your content already scores well are largely preserved.

After Auto-Improve generates a new version, you can review it side by side with your original. This comparison lets you see exactly what changed and decide whether the improvements align with your intent. You have full control -- accept the improved version entirely, cherry-pick specific improvements, or use it as inspiration for your own revision.

For maximum benefit, re-submit the improved version for another review. This creates a feedback loop: review, improve, review again. Most content sees a measurable score increase after one round of Auto-Improve, and additional rounds can push scores even higher. This iterative process is particularly effective for content that needs to meet a specific quality threshold before publication.

Auto-Improve works best when your reviewer has specific, detailed criteria guidance. Vague criteria like "good quality" produce vague improvements. Specific criteria like "sentences should average under 20 words, use active voice, and avoid jargon" produce targeted, measurable improvements because the AI has clear instructions for what "better" means.

Keep in mind that Auto-Improve is a tool, not a replacement for human judgment. The AI-generated improvements are suggestions that should be reviewed by a human before publication. Sometimes the AI will make trade-offs you would not -- simplifying a sentence that was intentionally complex, or adjusting tone in a way that changes your intended message. Always review the output with your editorial judgment.
